Dear Johnny,

Nearly a month has passed since our return from Tibet we enjoyed very much.

We are very grateful to you for your good advice, the perfect organization rendered by your company an the assistance offered by the guides from whom I would like to name the young lady in Xi’an in particular. She speaks a very good English, knows what she is speaking about and took care of us even when absent just leaving us her private telephone number to assist us whenever a problem might occur. Fortunately, we were not bound to make use of her offer.

From the hotels we have seen I would not recommend those where we have stayed in at Xi’an and Jerong. And the breakfast we have got in Xi’an and Lhasa was of a very local style.

These are some points of minor relevance. All in all I can underline that I would recommend to anyone of my friends who are interested to make the same tour according to your good advice they should seek.

I wish you all the best. And, of course, when visiting China next time I will contact you in advance.

Hello, I would like to write a review of our recent tour with Lobsang and driver Lhakba.

 First, I give the entire tour 5 stars out of 5. Everything the company promised happened. The hotels were good (not great), but the guide, Lobsang (and) Lhakba) was the best part of the tour. Lobsang is very knowledgeable about Tibet history. But more importantly, he is very kind and caring. Our comfort and safety was his number one priority. When one of our rooms had no hot water he went straight to the front desk and got us a better room. I can't say enough great things about him and our driver. If I need to rewrite this I will be glad to.

5 Days Dode Valley One Day Trekking Tour

Thank-you for your email. We returned home to Utah on Monday. Our trip to Lhasa was great! We enjoyed the itinerary and Tashi was a wonderful guide. 

It is a bity that Marcia and Becky lose the opportunity to have this tour with us. Marcia and Becky may try to finish this tour next year. Keep in touch.

This is my feedback for the Tibet tour we have completed.  I am sure that Jim will do his own.
1.  From the beginning, I believed that we had signed up for the 4th level of accommodations.  By just staying with what was assigned for the 3rd accommodations, we were pleased by the results.  The hotels were very comfortable and quiet with all the necessities.  The only place we had a wobble was the quest house in Darchen and Lobsang handled immediately with a room and bath.  
2.  Lobsang our guide was extraordinary, present, knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and find solutions.  He gifted us with a self is drawn a map of our extended trip of Tibet.  He was so great!!
3.  The group we were in with USA and Czech couple and our Israeli friend were wonderful to be with dor 16 days.  We were connected and supportive of each other.  That was a great plus to do a group tour for the length of time.
4.  Cherry, you were always available to us before, during and after the tour trip completion.  We are so appreciative of the service.
5.  I recommend this tour with your company to all our friends.  You held up to what you claimed by 100%, and we had a most spiritual, awakening journey through Tibet.  I am so grateful and appreciative to you and Lobsang for making this experience unforgetable.

We finally finish our travels. Back Home.

The tour was wonderful. Both Dhargie our Guide and Pheasant our Driver were excellent.  They did everything we asked of them.  Dhargie was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He helps me carry my bag during the Trek.

We are planning a second trip next year with a few friends and would prefer Dhargie to be our guide and Pheasant our Driver. If you have a survey please email it. I would like to complete it. I highly recommend Dargie our Guide  and Pheasant our Driver

The 7-day tour in Tibet was fantastic!! Lobsang was an outstanding tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. We loved the base camp experience. The Tibetan people were kind and friendly. So everything was good except for the train and you did a great job in getting us flights so that we could get off 10 hours sooner. We really appreciated that!! You saved us and we had a nice time on the wall in Xian. We biked the wall and had a wonderful dinner at our hotel. So thank you very much for everything. 5 Days Lhasa & Ganden Monastery Group Tour

We enjoyed our stay in Lhasa. The hotel was good but most of all we were very lucky with our guide Purbu Tashi and his driver. Tashi knew where we had to be at what time so we could avoid the crowd and got to see extra activities that took place at the locations. 
The information he told us was very interesting and in good Englisch. Not only the information but also funny stories and good conversational about the places we went to. He was very patient with our family of 5. Tashi made our Tibet experience great and taught us a lot about this special place.

I am very pleased with the tour with Great Tibet Tours.  Our guide and our driver were excellent and made the experience very good.

There are a couple of things I’d like to address for the future, but they should not reflect negatively on your company.

Communication home was a real problem. It would have been nice to know that WeChat was absolutely necessary to communicate home during my trip.  I had made flight problems and delays (which had nothing to do with you) and I was unable to communicate these changes to Canada in any way.  Probably, in future, let your clients know that this is an issue so they can deal with it prior to entering China, by obtaining WeChat, which I was unaware of prior to getting into China.

My hotels and accommodations were better than expected.
The Shang Ba La hotel was really good and the hospitality at the EBC was great. 

All in all, my tour was great and I would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone planning a trip.

We had a great trip Cherry. Can't thank you enough. Pobu Dajie and Dajie Nobu were fantastic and we had a great time with them. We can not fault them at all. Super great tour.

We are still traveling (in Chengdu now). I will write a longer review recommending GTT when we return home in a few weeks.

We're back in Shanghai now.

The airline allowed us to change the date of our flight without charging us a fee. Honore and I were very disappointed that we could not go on the rest of the trip. She was suffering from altitude sickness and could not really go to any higher altitude. Thank you and Hank for your understanding and help. Honore is feeling much better now that she's back down to sea level.
