I did not have a chance to write back sooner since we have been very busy. I did want to thank you for arranging the amazing trip in Tibet. Everything was excellent, better than could have been expected. We especially want to provide feedback on how great the guide Lopsang and the driver were. Their knowledge and experience made everything go very smoothly and more enjoyable. It was definitely an experience that not too many Americans get. I will fill out a review on TripAdvisor. I'm happy to let you know that the trip was really perfect from an organizational point of view. The communication with you has been very smooth since the beginning and everything worked out fine with the trains, pick up, and flights. Our tour guide was great and I enjoyed visiting everything in a small group.

I don't really think there is a lot you could do better, but maybe it would be nice to stop at more local restaurants! Sometimes we used the restaurants where all tour groups stopped, so it was always quite busy and not very cozy. On other days we stopped at smaller local restaurants on the road, which was super nice! I think that many people would appreciate more restaurants of this kind.

The hotel in Lhasa and Shigatse are great. We have enjoyed it. We did not try the Shangbala Hotel restaurant as it appeared to be more formal than we wished. However, our guide suggested several restaurants near the hotel, all of which we enjoyed for excellent food and service.

Besides this. The rest of the trip we suffered altitude sickness so I can’t really enjoy. I should have request mandarin speaking guide as my mom speaks only mandarin

Our guide and driver were very sweet. They got my mom's birthday gifts on her birthday. It made our trip most memorable.

During the trip, my guide Tenzin and Namka,  taking care of all of us- ensuring that we are all good, safe and sound. Tenzin also gave information regarding the monasteries and places. He also answered our random questions regarding Tibetans. 

Last one, is it possible to get an email address of Dave and Lisa?  There are some pictures I would like to send them...

I really enjoyed my time in Tibet and I appreciate all of your hard work which made everything go smoothly. It was excellent being greeted at the hotel by one of your associates who already had the receipt to give me for paying the final sum in cash. I was pleasantly surprised that only one other person was on my tour which made it so much easier to travel around the monasteries and the Potala Palace. I particularly enjoyed meeting our tour guide and I'm so glad that your company employs local Tibetans to share their knowledge. The hotel was in the perfect location and the breakfasts there every morning were so delicious. The airport transfers were so helpful, too and the driver did a great job keeping us safe. My only wish is that we could have squeezed in one small sightseeing trip the last morning before heading to the airport around noon, but I understand that would be complicated with larger groups where people fly out at different times of the day.Thanks again!

Sorry for my late Reply, my fellow travelers, were very Nice, all from the UK the tour also went really well, the hotels were also very good. The Round trip Lhasa flight amazing, so please hold on to my passport copy, I might want to do the 15-day tour, to the western part of Tibet, in one or two years.

Guides were very knowledgeable and eager to share their knowledge

They were concerned with our well-being, comfort and safety, as well as enjoyment.

Drivers were competent and careful to drive safely and lawfully; all were clearly very knowledgeable of the road.

The itinerary was well designed. The selected sights were varied and also the key ones for each country. We very much enjoyed the opportunity to get to know each country as well as we could in the somewhat limited time we had in each.

We will travel with Great Tibet Tour again in the next few years

 I just took the 8-day tour to Tibet with Great Tibet Tours. I had a fantastic week, the hotels were fine, the itinerary was varied and interesting and I had a wonderful time.

Our guide Meng Bo was excellent. He was unflappable, friendly, helpful ( carrying one of our group's heavy luggage without complaint!) and tirelessly answered our many questions. He assisted me with my shopping, going out of his way to make sure I found what I wanted at a good price. His excellent English and wide knowledge of history and customs were much appreciated. He also carefully briefed us at checkpoints so we knew what was happening. There were no stresses or strains at all on this amazing trip, just great experiences.

Sorry for my late response. We arrived on Sunday at midnight and the last two days I had so much to do. My body is at home, but with my thinking, I am still in Tibet. There were so many impressions. It was the greatest journey we ever made. Everything was great, amazing – I am missing the right words for this tour. Lobsang is the best guide ever. Please let me have one or two days – then I will send you the best review with our best photos. Thank you for your excellent organization.
As promised I send you with this mail a photo from MEBC – we had no problems with the high altitude!!
I will come back to you tomorrow!

We have a great time in Tibet joining the EBC tour with GTT. The arrangement route is nice, with 3 days at Lhasa for acclimatization. Both the tour guide Lobsang and driver Paksang were excellent in service, helping the visitor with a smile, good advice, good information sharing, always provide helping hand when needed. I can see that they carry out their duty with passion from the heart. The itinerary timing was good, with an exception that 2 of our team member has some problem with the breathing when arrived at EBC. After a couple of hours, we decided to leave EBC on the same day we reach to ensure the 2 members' safety.
The guide provides few options for decision making.
Overall, it is an excellent tour and I would recommend to my friends GTT if they want to come to visit Tibet.

My visit to Lhasa was complete in every way and fulfilled my thirty-year wish to see and experience Tibet. Thank you and please extend my gratitude to all those in your organization who organized my visit.
Transportation was always on time and was convenient and comfortable, thanks to driver Danzen. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the accommodation to Western breakfast food was appreciated.
I am especially grateful for tour guide Danzen for his detailed knowledge and careful explanations in the monasteries we visited and the Potala Palace; the fact that he is a native Tibetan and a practicing Buddhist greatly enhanced our discussions and granted me the insights I had hoped this trip would provide; his discretion, patience, and enthusiasm were exceptional.
While my visit was not a spiritual quest it was not a tourist quest for photos and souvenirs, and I have returned with a deeper sense of the place and the geography that your tour provided. While I was saddened by the sight of the “modernizations” that are taking place in Lhasa, I am grateful to have seen and experienced those aspects of Tibet I have studied in books for many years.
Due to age and other commitments, I will most likely not be visiting Tibet again, but I will surely recommend your company to my friends who are considering a tour. Thank you for a wonderful tour (at a reasonable price) with attentive and knowledgeable guides.
