BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

  • Airport/train station porterage is not included unless otherwise specified in your travel documents. Please be prepared to carry your own suitcase on and off airplanes and trains and through airports and train stations.

  • After booking, up-to-date information on carrier-specific standard checked baggage allowance (including size and weight limitations), the standard allowance (and fee, if applicable) for carry-on baggage, and the standard fee for the first and second checked bag can be found on the airlines’ website.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS & ACTIVITIES

  • Optional activities and excursions available for booking are provided by local operators outside Tibet or other third parties that are entirely independent of GTT and do not form any part of the product or services sold to you by GTT or of these Terms & Conditions, even where GTT suggests particular operators/other third parties and/or assists you in booking such optional activities or excursions.
  • Your contract for such services will be with the organizer or operator of that Service and will be subject to its Terms & Conditions, which may contain exclusions or limitations of liability. GTT has no liability for any such optional activity or excursion or for any act(s) or omission(s) of the organizer or operator or for any of its employees or agents or any other person(s) connected with the optional activity or excursion.

INSURANCE

  • GTT strongly advise travelers to purchase your own health, accident, baggage and trip insurance back home before your tour starts since for foreigners to claim payment from China’s insurance company would be a long and complicated process.
  • GTT covers only Travel Agency Liability insurance in general. If you have any special requests, please inform our travel consultant.

  • After returning from your vacation, if you wish to inquire about any services provided, please ensure that all correspondence relating to those services is received by GTT.
  • Any complaint or claim involving the vacation services offered on this website, involving the negligence of any suppliers, sub-contractors outside Tibet, or agents in relation to any service provided to the vacation participant, must be notified to GTT while on vacation or within 30 days of the vacation completion, except where such time limitations are prohibited by law.

Typically Asked Questions from Our Clients

Asked by Ange***

Hello, I have a few questions before I decided to book my tour. I will go to the Chinese embassy next week to obtain my visa, but I think I need to show proof of my Tibet tour to cross to Nepal, because it is where I have my flight back to Thailand.
I already purchased my flights to go to china and comeback from Nepal. the tour I am interested on is the one to go from Lasha to Nepal. Can you please specify what is include in the tour package (hotel, meals)? I am not sure the city I will be in by the time I decide to go to Tibet, but I am sure that the date will be 4/17/2019. Booking transfer form Beijing, Xi'an or Chengdu will be cheaper is I arrange that with you?

Thank you

Angy.

In your inquiry, you mentioned that you would like to join our 7-day Lhasa Mt. Everest Kathmandu Overland Group Tour in April. So far, we don’t have a set group starts on 17th. April. However, we have two groups close to 17th. One starts on 20th. another one starts on 21st. Please check which one you are okay to join in.

We are happy to help you book the air or train tickets to Lhasa. Please feel free to ask me for the price.

Yes, you are correct about the China Visa. We will provide the documents the China Embassy requires to assist you to apply for the Visa after you book a tour with us.
