6 Days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Group Tour

I arrived home safely the other night, thank you. The tour was fantastic for me, however it could be perfect if you could arrange the time to visit the Potala Palace a bit earlier. According to the program on day 3 of the tour, we visited Potala. The time allocated for us to come inside and visit the Potala was 12.20pm. We understood that due to the security and safety reason each tour group is allocated with a specific time to start Potala tour. However, we saw many other groups could come in early and thus we wonder if you (the travel agent) could arrange the better time so that we could save time.

In short, I'm happy that I was there and satisfied with the tour.

We truly had an enjoyable stay in Tibet, due in large part to your assistance and pleasant working relationships.

曲扎Qu Zha was our tour guide to Tibet (along with the driver Wang Jiu), he did an excellent job taking care of our needs and was an excellent tour guide. Qu Zha & Wang Jiu was very caring, hospitable & funny. Should any of these outstanding people journey one day to Hong Kong, we would be honored to reciprocate and be their guides for a day.  Please pass along our appreciation to them.

Finally, a special thank you to you for your assistance in setting our trips up before we arrived.  Everyone, was just so very nice and professional.

I was going to write you, beause the whole organization of the trip was honestly really just perfect!

all the information before I get to Tibet; arranging my Tibet permit; the whole communication with you, your approach; the service from your agency during my stay in Lhasa; our guide - I m so sorry I do not remember his name - but he was really really good; my hotel was very nice; vehicle and driver in Lhasa - absolutely OK; I appreciate it all very much!

I mean, I m really so happy about my trip to Lhasa. It is an amazing place and even though I saw Tibet outside Lhasa just from the train it seems its such a beautiful country. Thank you very much for making my trip to this beautiful country much much nicer. I will hopefully come back again.

Yes we have arrived. Landed yesterday in Cape Town and today went back to the "groove" at work.

I would like to thank you for your outstanding work and let you know how important your help and support has been to us in shaping the itinerary and terms of the trip of our lives.It is really rare to find such a high level of customer service. I would like to compliment you also on behalf of my boyfriend as we had an amazing time in Tibet. You have taken the time to assist us from the very beginning and went the extra mile in suggesting ideas for itinerary, providing tips on where to stay and what to do. You have also assisted us with all our crazy queires, worries and doubts about visa issuance and time frames on how to get it. The ability to handle that was also outstanding.We were also very impressed with the excellent level of your English and with all explanation and insights provided.

Once in Tibet the friendliness and competence of the tour guide you have selected for us was impressive as he had a deep knowledge of Tibetan culture, customes and history. It was a great adventure travelling with him!

7 Days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Namtso Tour

We all came back to Vietnam safely yesterday.

The day before yesterday, when we went to Lhasa airport to fly back to Chongquing, my friend also could not breathe at the airport and the officers, doctors there had to call the Ambulance. However, lucky us that after 1 hour, she could go to the plane by the help of a wheelchair after signing an ensured document.

Thank you much for the support from your side. Related to the unexpected accident of high attitude problem, I am very impressive of how well your guide, Lobsang, handled the problem although this is the first time he was facing.

Some of my opinions for this problem:

*The oxygen device in the van does not provide enough oxy. Its capacity is  only for 15 minutes, not enough to go down to any hospitals on the way.

*It should be better if you can recommend travelers to take some medicines before coming to Lhasa to reduce the effect of the high attitude.

*The addresses of the hospitals during the journey should be known to avoid the situation of finding the way as we had to do.

*For the travelers from Asian countries, usually their health is not as good as Western people’s health. It should be nice if you ask the travelers about their health (e.g. low blood pressure, heart disease,…) and give them some advices early.

Finally, thank you all: your colleages, the police in Gyantse, doctors in Lhasa hospital, and in the Lhasa airport. We appreciate them so much to help us in this emergency case.

I really enjoyed the travel, it was really beautiful. I send you my opinion about the trip:

Guide: She was really nice! She did great job. The only thing that she can improve her job is helping people to barging and buy things.

Hotel: the hotel is so nice! I really enjoyed to stayed there. The ubication is perfect!

The tour general: you say the tour is for 5 days but actually is four days, the last day I only had the time to go two hours to downtown.

As I told you before I really enjoyed Tibet, and I want to come back next year to go and see more places.

Lobsang was the BEST, thank you for him too. He went out of his way to make sure we were all happy. A hard group to please! He is such a beautiful person. I hope you meet him one day.

I seem to dream of Tibet every night. THANK YOU Amy also for the contacts/ places to go in Chengdu. A beautiful experience. Despite the typhoon in Hong Kong we did eventually get home safely.

After we had visited Tibet we came to Vietnam for a finishing with a Ha Long Bay cruise. Tomorrow we will flight back home.

The trip was very nice and gave a strong contrast in the landscape to the southern Himalaya section in Bhutan and Darjeeling which we visited shortly before. However culture and friendliness is the same. and we re very happy with your agency’s arrangement also a million thanks to you.

Also we want to thank our guide, Ngawang, who’s very knowledgeable of Tibet.

At last, Apple, pls don’t forget to send us some pictures of the Mount Everest region and festivals? Hope that you re not too busy..

Overall the tour was great and the places gave us a good idea of Tibet & the culture. An itinerary with timeline of travel and expected expenses would make it better.

Sorry for my late answer but it is difficult to come back on Earth.

This 8 days tour in Tibet is really incredible and unforgettable. Organization of this tour has been perfect and I was very lucky to join a group with a funny young Chinese lady and 4 very pleasant Germans. It is the ideal size of a group for a good harmony.

We have all really appreciate our guide, Tashi Peida, for his deep knowledge of the Tibetan civilization and religion, his very good English level and above all, his very pleasant company and his permanent smile. He is more than a guide: a friend.The timing has been well managed by Taishi to avoid loss of time on road and to arrive on the Everest tent camp in time to enjoy the incredible view of Qomolangma before the sunset.

Accommodation is 3* hotels has been perfect everywhere.

The only negative point is that we have understood that our driver didn't have the proper licence to drive our minibus. This is the reason why we had a second driver to go through some check points.

Regarding your personal service, Amy, let me give you the same rating than the level of my worry at the beginning of the preparation of this tour: 12/10  :-)))))).

Thanks a lot for your patience and your efficiency to obtain my Tibet Visa and a train ticket at the last minute. Great job. I only regret not to have had the pleasure to meet you in Lhasa.

We have all now the dream to come back to Tibet and to go a little bit further, to the mount Kailash for example, or a little bit higher on the Everest. We hope that one day we can realize this dream with Great Tibet Tour.

Our Tibetan guide Lobsang really made the experience for us. He did everything possible to make us comfortable during our tour. He was friendly and flexible showing us great locations for photos and answering all our crazy questions. He was also very knowledgeable. He knew so much history and information about each location, and was great about sharing. He gave us a better understanding of Tibet and for that we are very thankful.

Our local guide Mr. Lobsang was +10. Friendly, knowledgeable, eager to help any time any situation. Cheerful. He did sing for us as well, just as I wanted him to. Hope to meet him again on future tour.

Also our driver, prepared to stop any time for us to take photos.

We did have some changes of itinerary due to weather conditions, and as a local agent, Great Tibet Tour’s team was very flexible and helpful.
