Situated in the north of Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou is a famous national park. In 1992, this natural national park was recorded on the list of World Heritage Sites. There are lots of multi-level waterfalls, colorful lakes, and snow-capped mountains. And the average elevation is about 2,000 to 4,500 meters. Huanglong, 120km away from Jiuzhaigou, is another hot tourist destination for travelers. Owing to the special terrain and geography, Huanglong is famous for its colorful and diverse ponds, dense forests, white snow mountains, and numerous hot springs. Songpan, a traditional county in the northwest of Sichuan Province, is known to the public for its stunning natural views and unique traditions. As a special activity in Songpan, horse riding has become a hot program for travelers. Day 1 Arrival in Jiuzhaigou by Flight/Train
After arrival in Jiuzhaigou by flight/high-speed train, our local guide will be there waiting for you with your name sign at the exit. Look for the one who’s holding your name board. Afterward, transfer to a hotel in Jiuzhaigou Town.
Stay overnight at Jiuzhaigou Town
Tips: It takes 50 minutes to fly to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport from Chengdu. And from the airport, you can get to Jiuzhaigou Town in 2 hours, covering a distance of 90km. Alternatively, you can take a high-speed train to Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station from Chengdu East Railway Station in 1 hour and 40 minutes. From this station, you can get to Jiuzhaigou Town in 1 hour and 50 minutes, covering a distance of 93km.
Day 2 Jiuzhaigou
You will spend the whole day at Jiuzhaigou National Park with many lakes, waterfalls, and Tibetan villages. At noon, you will have a picnic in the park which will be organized by tour guide but it’s at your own expense. In the afternoon, you will trek 6-7km along the 4 iconic lakes of Jiuzhaigou. In the evening, you will have the chance to see a local Tibetan Culture Show (price not included).

Day 3 Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong - Chuanzhusi
After breakfast at the hotel, drive from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong National Park, then hike up to the top of Huanglong Park. Here you can spend about 4hrs sightseeing at Huanglong which is famous for its colorful pools formed by calcium deposits, as well as diverse forest ecosystems, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, and hot springs. We suggest you take a one-way cable car going downhill but the cost is not included in the package. In the late afternoon, we will drive you to Chuanzhusi Town.

Day 4 Chuanzhusi - Songpan - Chuanzhusi
Drive to Songpan in the morning, we will visit Songpan Ancient Town with its old walls. From 10:00 to 15:00, we will explore Songpan Ancient City and do Horseback riding to mountain area near Songpan. At 15:30, we will drive back to Chuanzhusi Town and stay overnight there. You will arrive at Chuanzhusi at about 16:00.

Day 5 Departure from Chuanzhusi by Flight/Train
Tour ends today. After breakfast, we will drop you off at Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport / Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station for your next destination.
